About the role

JPMorgan Chase Bank seeks a Model Risk Management – Policy Practice and Governance Associate to strengthen governance of model risk across the organization. The role involves managing governance projects, updating policies, and collaborating with risk, finance, and business lines to ensure models are used appropriately. Candidates should bring at least three years of experience in model risk or development within a regulated environment, strong analytical and project‑management skills, and a quantitative background. What you’ll do

• Manage multiple governance projects and tasks simultaneously
• Communicate project expectations to managers, sponsors and stakeholders
• Participate in process reengineering initiatives for operational excellence
• Update MRGR governing policy and procedure documents
• Respond to audit and regulatory exam requests

What you’ll bring

• 3+ years experience in model risk or model development in regulated environment
• Knowledge of financial modeling, probability, statistics, numerical analysis
• Proven ability to influence decisions across stakeholders
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, organizational and project‑management skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Sciences, Engineering or Computer Science

Nice to have

Quantitative background or experience in audit, business management, consulting, risk or governance
