Senior Specialist, Accounting

About the role

GL team at ServiceTitan India builds and maintains the core general ledger function for the company's Indian entity. The Senior Specialist performs end‑to‑end accounting tasks, reconciles multi‑currency accounts, supports statutory filings and acts as the primary liaison between the global finance team and the outsourced accounting firm. Bengaluru, Karnataka, India – on‑site work model.

What you’ll do

• Operate general ledger system, post journal entries and manage month‑end close
• Reconcile and analyze ledger accounts, including multi‑currency and complex banks
• Prepare schedules and footnotes for local financial statements
• Maintain fixed asset register and oversee depreciation and disposals
• Support GST, TDS, Professional Tax filings and statutory compliance
• Analyze differences between statutory books and GAAP books
• Serve as liaison between global finance and outsourced accounting firm
• Collaborate with Tax, FP&A, HR and Legal on cross‑functional initiatives

What you’ll bring

• 5+ years accounting experience with Indian tax compliance
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP
• Experience managing outsourced accounting firms
• CA (ICAI) qualification preferred; ACCA or CPA considered
• Workday Financials experience preferred
• Proficiency in Tally and Paybooks
• Advanced Google Workspace and Excel skills
• Experience building process automations with AI tools
