About the role
The Senior Accounting Specialist is a core member of IDinsight's global finance team, responsible for maintaining financial record integrity across the organization's multi-entity structure. Day-to-day work includes general ledger and journal entry review, multi-entity reconciliations, global consolidated financial statements, Form 990 preparation, audit support, and ERP process improvement. The role is based in IDinsight's Delhi, India office and is not eligible for remote work.

- Own the full revenue reconciliation process, tracking AR aging across all entities, matching receipts to invoices in the ERP, flagging mismatches with FP&A and project teams, and resolving intercompan
- Support the organization's global audit by preparing audit schedules, responding to auditor queries, compiling supporting documentation, and acting as the primary point of contact for multi-country au
- Support statutory compliance requirements across all IDinsight entities, including global VAT, GST, WHT, PAYE, EPF, TDS, advance tax, and other region-specific tax and regulatory obligations, and lead

What you’ll bring
- Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience in a global or multi-entity setup with hands-on multi-currency and multi-geography accounting operations.
- Demonstrated experience handling financial accounting across multiple jurisdictions spanning USA, Asia, and Africa, including intercompany transactions, foreign currency translations, and consolidatio
- Well-versed with IFRS, US GAAP, or relevant regional GAAP standards, with ability to apply appropriate accounting treatments across diverse regulatory environments.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data validation, conditional formatting, and financial modelling.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Unit4, Microsoft Business Central, SAP, or similar) in a multi-entity accounting environment.
- Technical understanding of global tax and regulatory compliance frameworks (VAT, GST, WHT, PAYE, EPF, and other regional obligations).
- Experience supporting or leading statutory audits, tax compliance filings, and regulatory reporting across multiple countries.
- Chartered Accountant (CA) from ICAI or equivalent international body, or CPA, CS, CWA/CMA, ACCA, CIMA, CGA, or equivalent, or MBA in Finance with strong emphasis on core financial accounting and repor
