Senior Travel Consultant

About the role

Amex GBT seeks a Senior Travel Consultant to provide outstanding service to corporate business clients within its inclusive and collaborative culture. The role involves advising on travel, booking complex itineraries using Global Distribution Systems, and ensuring policy compliance while collaborating with the team to improve service levels. This is a full-time position based in Gurgaon, India, operating as part of a 24/7 customer care operation.

What you’ll do

• Advise and arrange domestic and international business travel for individuals and groups
• Conduct analysis and research on travel options to anticipate traveler needs
• Book air, road, rail, and accommodations using various GDSs
• Ensure compliance with customer travel policies and regulatory requirements
• Use positive telephone service techniques to handle special requests
• Collaborate with the team to coach, mentor, and provide constructive feedback

What you’ll bring

• Native expertise in GDS platforms (Sabre, Apollo, Amadeus, or Galileo)
• Strong understanding of the travel industry background
• Professional written and verbal communication skills
• Passion for excellence in client service
