About the role

Axis Bank seeks a Branch Head in Hubballi to lead branch operations and drive financial performance. The role involves overseeing daily activities, managing client relationships, and ensuring regulatory compliance. This on-site position requires strong leadership and banking expertise.

What you’ll do

• Ensure efficient daily operation of the branch including lending and sales
• Prepare and implement growth plans for branch business
• Establish and strengthen relations with key customers
• Review reports and take proactive action for profitable business
• Ensure audit deliverables and regulatory compliance are met
• Create a performance-oriented environment for high employee motivation
• Train staff on products, sales processes, and policies
• Liaise with cluster office to achieve overall business goals

What you’ll bring

• Graduate or MBA (Marketing) preferred
• 8-12 years of BFSI sector experience
• Knowledge of banking products and services
• Knowledge of regulatory guidelines and norms

Nice to have

• NCFM and AMFI Certifications
• Good communication skills in English and local language
