About the role

Quest Global – Pipe Stress Engineering team designs and validates piping systems for power plant projects. The Pipe Stress Engineer performs static and dynamic stress analysis using AutoPIPE and CAESAR II, reviews 3D models, prepares reports, and coordinates with cross‑functional teams. Bengaluru, India, on‑site work model.

What you’ll do

  • Develop and present stress analysis reports
  • Perform static and dynamic pipe stress analysis
  • Review 3D models using Navisworks and NX‑UG
  • Select appropriate supports for analysis
  • Interface with customers to implement design changes
  • Plan tasks and ensure timely, cost‑effective delivery
  • Coordinate with cross‑functional teams including civil and electrical
  • Make design decisions considering feasibility and fabrication

What you’ll bring

  • 6-8 years pipe stress analysis experience
  • Proficiency with AutoPIPE and CAESAR II
  • Knowledge of ASME codes and standards
  • Experience selecting supports for analysis
  • Understanding of P&ID schematics and gas turbine accessory systems
  • Familiarity with piping, tubing, fittings and plant layout drawings
  • Ability to interpret supplier/vendor drawings
  • Strong coordination with cross‑functional teams
