Piping Stress Engineer
About the role
Engineering Team responsible for piping and pipeline stress analysis in oil & gas, petrochemical and power projects. The Piping Stress Engineer performs manual calculations in Excel, applies relevant codes and standards, and utilizes CAESAR II and CAD tools to validate designs and assess FRP material behavior. Based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, on-site work model with immediate joining required.
What you’ll do
- Perform stress analysis and design validation for piping systems
- Conduct manual calculations and ensure compliance with industry codes
- Utilize CAESAR II and CAD tools for modeling and analysis
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate design requirements
- Prepare technical documentation and reports
Nice to have
- Minimum 3 years piping/pipeline stress analysis experience
- Proficiency in CAESAR II software
- Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering fundamentals
- Experience with manual calculations in Excel
- Understanding of relevant codes and standards
- Familiarity with FRP material behavior
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD
