Senior BIM Technician - Building Structures

About the role

WSP seeks a Senior BIM Technician to join its Structural Engineering Team in Bengaluru or Noida, operating under a Hybrid work model. The role involves providing expert CAD and Revit support for complex building structure projects, ensuring high-quality modeling and drafting standards. You will collaborate with global teams to deliver coordinated structural models and drawings while mentoring junior staff.

What you’ll do

• Develop general arrangement, section, and detail drawings into coordinated building models
• Produce high-standard models eliminating errors and clashes
• Coordinate Architectural and MEP models on projects
• Comply with BIM Execution Plans and company CAD standards
• Perform self-checks on models and drawings prior to issuing
• Follow QA procedures, document control, archiving, and CDM guidelines
• Provide advice and coaching to colleagues on intermediate CAD functions
• Liaise with project team members in India and the UK

What you’ll bring

• Diploma in Civil or higher education
• 8+ years production experience in detailing and drafting
• Expert knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD
• Experience in team management and engineering
• Knowledge of Uniclass 2015 and PAS1192/BS1192 standards
• Familiarity with Common Data Environment (CDE)
• Ability to coach junior staff on CAD functions
