What you’ll do
- Process initial and re-credentialing applications for physicians and nurse practitioners
- Verify provider credentials via primary source verification
- Maintain up-to-date provider files in credentialing databases
- Coordinate with payers for enrollment and reimbursement eligibility
- Track expiring licenses, certifications, and insurance
- Prepare credentialing files for committee review
- Ensure compliance with NCQA, URAC, CMS, Joint Commission regulations
- Support audits and respond to credentialing inquiries
What you’ll bring
- 3+ years credentialing experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Strong knowledge of NCQA, URAC, CMS standards
- Experience with CAQH and MD-Staff
- Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid enrollment
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
