About the role

Day-to-day, you create and improve engineering designs, processes, tooling, and machinery; resolve manufacturing/build-sequence issues; and collaborate across marketing, purchasing, and manufacturing to deliver customer-ready solutions. This full-time role requires working from the office five days a week.

What you’ll do

  • Creating new designs and resolving issues regarding manufacturing or building sequences, ensuring design acceptance and manufacturing readiness
  • Participating in the adoption of new technologies and processes (automation, robotics, computer-aided manufacturing software) to achieve greater efficiency, cost reduction, and quality improvement
  • Planning and improving engineering procedures and operations to make products or processes more reliable, efficient, and cost-effective
  • Collaborating with all functional areas (marketing, purchasing, manufacturing) to provide design solutions that meet customer and dealer network requirements

What you’ll bring

  • Degree in an accredited Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science curriculum
  • Basic understanding of information capture methods, channels, and documentation processes
  • Knowledge of standard operating procedures and ability to design, implement, and evaluate them
  • Analytical thinking skills to determine root causes and create alternative solutions
  • Effective communication skills to transmit, receive, and interpret ideas and information
  • Knowledge of design for manufacturability (DFM) guidelines, methodologies, and use cases
  • Engineering in a manufacturing environment: processes, techniques, and methods
  • Product testing approaches, techniques, and tools to ensure quality at all manufacturing stages
