About the role

What you’ll do
- Creating new designs and resolving issues regarding manufacturing or building sequences, ensuring design acceptance and manufacturing readiness
- Participating in the adoption of new technologies and processes (automation, robotics, computer-aided manufacturing software) to achieve greater efficiency, cost reduction, and quality improvement
- Planning and improving engineering procedures and operations to make products or processes more reliable, efficient, and cost-effective
- Collaborating with all functional areas (marketing, purchasing, manufacturing) to provide design solutions that meet customer and dealer network requirements
What you’ll bring
- Degree in an accredited Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science curriculum
- Basic understanding of information capture methods, channels, and documentation processes
- Knowledge of standard operating procedures and ability to design, implement, and evaluate them
- Analytical thinking skills to determine root causes and create alternative solutions
- Effective communication skills to transmit, receive, and interpret ideas and information
- Knowledge of design for manufacturability (DFM) guidelines, methodologies, and use cases
- Engineering in a manufacturing environment: processes, techniques, and methods
- Product testing approaches, techniques, and tools to ensure quality at all manufacturing stages
