About the role

Senior MS Engineer- Network at NTT DATA is a L2 Security Managed Services Engineer role focused on ensuring client security infrastructures remain operational. The engineer monitors, investigates, and resolves technical incidents, restores service, and supports project work. Key responsibilities include routing & switching, LAN/WAN management, wireless operation, SD‑WAN, incident ownership, service delivery optimization, reporting, personnel management, and network performance benchmarking. Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in IT/Computing, CCNA certification (mandatory), and CCNP Security or PCNSE (preferred). The role is on‑site in Hyderabad and Mumbai, India, with full‑time employment.

What you’ll do

• Provide proactive monitoring, identifying, investigating, and resolving technical incidents and problems to restore service to clients.
• Review client requests or tickets and apply technical/process knowledge to resolve them without breaching SLA.
• Take ownership of critical incidents, coordinate with resolution parties, and establish effective communication between stakeholders for post‑incident reviews.
• Ensure systems, procedures, and methodologies support outstanding service delivery and meet customer expectations.
• Analyze third‑party and internal processes, create strategies for service delivery optimization, and recommend improvement methods.
• Provide accurate and regular reports to management on performance of the service delivery.
• Lead personnel management, performance assessment, training, and mentoring.
• Build strong relationships with teams and stakeholders to enable effective dialogue exchange between departments.
• Supervise Network Support teams to facilitate continual improvements in the Lupin Network environment.
• Ensure OS updates and patches are applied effectively and promptly.
• Enable high‑level performance benchmarks for Network devices.

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in IT/Computing (or demonstrated equivalent work experience).
• Certifications relevant to services supported. Certifications carry additional weightage on the candidate’s qualification for the role.
• CCNA certification in must, CCNP in Security or PCNSE certification is good to have.
