About the role
Sr. Engineer QA at Vishay Intertechnology leads QA system implementation, budget alignment, and resource allocation across operations. What you’ll do
- Implementing and/or maintaining Divisional QA systems, guidelines, tools or test procedures for assigned operations.
- Developing, aligning and ensuring implementation of QA budgets, assigning and monitoring projects and allocate resources.
- Planning, creation and moderation of FMEA processes for product development and production operations.
- Leading audits to ensure products meet both own and customer’s quality and product integrity requirements.
- Supporting operations team by providing analysis and expertise throughout the inspection process.
- Managing customer claims, by identifying root causes of problems, and recommending corrective measures.
- Planning, preparing and realizing infrastructure implementation (e.g., planning, programming, configuring and/or installing or commissioning assigned systems or applications).
- Leading respective local projects or workstreams (often labeled as C- Projects).
- Briefs and cooperates with external provider, and monitors the service level, deliveries and related cost.
- Provides local support and consultancy on dedicated technical systems (e.g., as ‘System or Product Owner’).
