About the role
Quest Global Mechanical Design team builds high‑precision turboexpander components for energy applications. The role creates 3D SolidWorks models from legacy 2D drawings, performs axial stack‑up and tolerance analyses, and generates manufacturing drawings while coordinating with engineering teams in Italy and the USA. Pune, India, on-site, relocation assistance available.
What you’ll do
- Review and interpret legacy 2D drawings for turboexpander components
- Create accurate 3D SolidWorks models and assemblies
- Perform axial stack‑up and tolerance analyses for critical assemblies
- Update drawings to current GD&T and material standards
- Conduct design checks for interference and assembly compatibility
- Validate manufacturing processes and feasibility
- Generate 2D manufacturing drawings from 3D models
- Coordinate technical clarifications with teams in Italy and USA
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 5-15 years mechanical design experience
- Proficiency in SolidWorks
- Experience with compressor OEM or high‑speed turbomachinery
- Strong GD&T and tolerance analysis skills
- Ability to interpret complex drawings
- Collaborative work with international teams
- Fluent English
