What you’ll do
- Lead planning and development of mechanical components and systems
- Create and approve engineering drawings to GD&T standards
- Perform calculations, develop test plans, and execute verification
- Drive manufacturing process development for metal and plastic parts
- Engage with customers and program teams to align deliverables
- Mentor junior engineers and foster technical growth
- Identify cost‑reduction and standardization opportunities
- Support continuous improvement and root‑cause analysis
What you’ll bring
- 7+ years mechanical design experience
- Expertise in GD&T and tolerance analysis
- Design for Manufacturing, Assembly, and Cost principles
- Sheet metal, plastic part design, injection molding, casting, machining
- Material selection and reliability knowledge
- Leadership of component/subsystem design projects
- Cross‑functional team collaboration
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt preferred
