About the role

KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) Integrated Solutions International Team delivers high‑end engineering services across the asset life cycle. The Senior Technical Advisor provides authoritative technical guidance on instrumentation and controls, reviewing specifications, vendor bids, and instrument design deliverables while negotiating critical issues with senior engineers. Gurgaon, India, on‑site role focusing on detail engineering for oil and gas projects, including offshore experience where applicable.

What you’ll do

• Make technical decisions and recommendations with broad impact
• Negotiate critical issues with senior engineers and external parties
• Perform advisory and consulting work for instrumentation programs
• Prepare and review specifications, data sheets, and material requisitions
• Evaluate technical bids and vendor drawings
• Review instrument design deliverables such as cable layouts and hook‑up drawings

What you’ll bring

• 20+ years engineering experience
• FEED and detail engineering of instrumentation
• AVeVA E3D/PDMS instrument modeling
• Review of specifications, data sheets, vendor drawings
• Lead or deputy lead on oil & gas projects
• Offshore project experience preferred
