About the role
WSP – BIM team supports tunnel and underground infrastructure projects by creating detailed 2D and 3D models in Revit and AutoCAD. The Senior BIM Technician prepares drawings, coordinates with engineers, ensures standards compliance, and mentors junior staff. Bengaluru, India, hybrid work model (Hybrid).
What you’ll do
- Prepare accurate 2D drawings for tunnelling and underground structures using AutoCAD
- Develop 3D Revit models for tunnels and support BIM workflows
- Coordinate drawing strategy, numbering and standards with project engineers
- Resolve design queries and incorporate revisions from engineers
- Maintain documentation control and QA/QC checks
- Coach technicians on intermediate Revit functions
- Manage small to medium BIM models using Revit Structures
What you’ll bring
- Diploma in CAD
- 8-10 years relevant experience
- Professional registration such as EngTech (ICE, UK) desirable
