About the role
Senior-level IBM Sterling OMS specialist needed in Pune to design, develop, and support high-volume eCommerce order management solutions. Must lead implementation, upgrade, and optimization of Sterling OMS, build Java/REST/SOAP services, and mentor team members. Experience with XML, XSD, SOAP, REST, application servers, and database tuning essential. Proven track record in Agile/Waterfall SDLC, version control, and performance tuning for scalable B2C platforms.
What you’ll do
- Design and develop IBM Sterling OMS solutions
- Build Java, REST, SOAP services for OMS
- Perform upgrades to Sterling OMS 9.3+
- Optimize database and application performance
- Mentor team members on OMS and Java
- Ensure high availability and scalability of eCommerce platform
What you’ll bring
- 7+ yrs eCommerce high-volume application experience
- 4-5 yrs IBM Sterling OMS development
- XML, XSD, SOAP, REST services expertise
- Java/J2EE, WebSphere MQ/JBoss/WebLogic knowledge
- SDLC, UML, Agile/Waterfall, version control (SVN/GIT)
- Performance tuning, scalability, high availability
Nice to have
- Train and guide new team members on Sterling OMS
- Build Java/REST/SOAP services around Sterling
- Conduct POCs to solve business problems
- Ensure scalability and reliability of eCommerce ops
- Optimize database and core commerce functions
