About the role
HBM Team at Micron Technology, Hyderabad, India. The team builds high bandwidth memory solutions for AI and HPC. The Senior Layout Engineer designs analog and mixed-signal blocks, leads tapeout and TSV integration, and mentors junior layout engineers. Role based in Hyderabad, on-site.
What you’ll do
- Build and develop analog, mixed-signal, custom digital blocks
- Tapeout PWF reticles and collaborate on advanced packaging
- Engage in TSV build with HIG HBM teams
- Perform layout verification (LVS/DRC/Antenna) and quality control
- Deliver block-level layouts on schedule
- Lead planning, estimation, scheduling and execution
- Guide less experienced team members
- Communicate with global engineering teams
What you’ll bring
- 6+ years analog/custom layout development
- Expertise in Cadence VLE/VXL and Mentor Calibre
- Hands-on layout of critical blocks (PLL, ADC, DAC, etc.)
- Strong analog layout fundamentals
- Understanding build constraints and memory architectures
- Problem solving in physical verification
- Multiple tape-out support
- Excellent communication skills
