What you’ll do
- Define BMS architecture and control algorithms
- Lead design and development of xEV lithium‑ion battery pack controls
- Coordinate ISO 26262 compliance and DFMEA activities
- Collaborate with system, calibration, and testing teams for integration
- Perform software verification and validation of BMS controls
- Manage cross‑functional design reviews with suppliers and agencies
What you’ll bring
- 10-15 years relevant experience
- Experience with battery management system hardware/software design
- Knowledge of ISO 26262 and ISO 21434
- Proficiency in Model Based Design using Matlab Simulink
- Understanding of HEV/EV battery architecture and regulations
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills
- Experience with ECU testing
- Familiarity with hybrid/electric powertrain control design
