About the role
Engineering team at Maruti Suzuki India developing battery management systems for hybrid and electric vehicles. The role designs BMS architecture, creates control algorithms for SOC/SOH estimation, cell balancing and thermal management, and validates designs through HIL testing and vehicle-level integration. Based in Gurugram with on-site work required, relocation across India may be considered.
What you’ll do
- Define BMS and electrical system architecture
- Perform requirement engineering and functional safety analysis
- Develop and implement SOC/SOH estimation and cell balancing algorithms
- Conduct HIL validation and coordinate cross‑functional design activities
- Execute pack‑level and vehicle‑level testing and troubleshooting
What you’ll bring
- B.E or B.Tech in Electrical/Electronics/Communication (60% minimum)
- M.E or M.Tech in Control Systems or EV/HEV projects preferred
- Experience with Lithium‑Ion battery design and testing
- Hands‑on with BMS hardware/software development
- Proficiency in Model‑Based Design using MATLAB/Simulink
- Knowledge of ISO 26262 functional safety and EV regulations
