About the role

Traveler Care team at American Express Global Business Travel provides 24/7 corporate travel support, ensuring seamless travel experiences for business clients. The Senior Travel Consultant advises and arranges domestic and international travel, uses GDS platforms like Galileo and Sabre, and ensures policy compliance while proactively identifying additional service opportunities. Based in Gurgaon, India, this role works on-site with flexible afternoon and weekend shifts as needed.

What you’ll do

• Advise and arrange travel for corporate customers, both individuals and groups
• Conduct analysis of travel options and anticipate traveler needs to upsell services
• Book air, road, rail, and accommodation travel using multiple GDS platforms
• Ensure compliance with travel policies and regulatory requirements
• Provide positive telephone service and handle special customer requests
• Collaborate with team to coach, mentor, and improve service levels
• Work flexible afternoon shifts (12-8pm) and weekends as required
• Maintain integrity of personal traveler information

What you’ll bring

• Minimum 1 year experience in US and Asia bookings
• Minimum 1 year experience in corporate travel bookings
• Native expertise in Galileo and Sabre GDS
• Experience with Chat-hub preferred
• Professional written and verbal communication
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to resolve customer issues independently
• Teamwork and openness to feedback
