About the role
Global Data Quality Assurance Team at AstraZeneca drives data integrity across the enterprise by developing and executing a comprehensive Data Quality Assurance Framework. The Lead shapes strategy, adopts AI‑enabled quality tools, and collaborates with data governance managers while also performing hands‑on data profiling and quality assessments. Based in Chennai, India, hybrid work model with three days onsite per week.
What you’ll do
- Develop and lead Data Quality Assurance Framework
- Drive adoption of AI‑enabled data quality tools
- Collaborate with data governance managers
- Define and report data governance performance metrics
- Lead cross‑functional forums
- Design and implement data policies
- Lead change initiatives for data literacy
- Manage team’s strategic direction and hands‑on profiling
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- Significant data quality assurance experience
- Hands‑on data quality/governance tools
- Experience with Snowflake
- Experience with AWS
