About the role
Preqin Enterprise Data Solutions team at BlackRock builds data integration platforms and APIs for enterprise clients. As an Associate Application Engineer you will design, implement and maintain robust data distribution systems, collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams, and shape architectural decisions for scalable solutions. Bengaluru, hybrid (4 days onsite, 1 day remote).
What you’ll do
- Design and implement robust data distribution and integration systems
- Collaborate with engineering teams to adopt optimal technical solutions
- Contribute to technical discussions on product direction, data modeling and architecture
What you’ll bring
- 4+ years software engineering experience
- Proficiency in C# and Python
- Experience with FastAPI, React and Typescript
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL and MongoDB
- Familiarity with Snowflake and DataBricks
- Experience with Azure or AWS and Terraform
- Understanding of OCI container packaging and orchestration
- Excel plugin development experience
