About the role
Payroll team at UKG delivers end-to-end payroll services for LATAM clients. The Senior Payroll Associate processes payroll for multiple LATAM countries, resolves complex payroll issues, and ensures compliance with internal controls and statutory requirements. Pune, India, on-site, with LATAM‑aligned shift schedule.
What you’ll do
- Execute end‑to‑end payroll processing for assigned LATAM countries
- Review payroll inputs, outputs, reconciliations, and variance reports
- Partner with In‑Country Partners and clients to ensure accurate payroll delivery
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee queries within SLAs
- Support statutory reporting, compliance activities, and year‑end processes
- Manage client escalations and serve as escalation point for complex issues
- Mentor junior payroll team members and drive process improvements
What you’ll bring
- 4-6 years payroll experience in LATAM
- Advanced Spanish proficiency (B2/C1+)
- Experience with ICP model and multi‑country payroll
- Strong payroll compliance, reconciliation, and control knowledge
- Advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas)
