Group Head – D&IT Specialist (Finance)

About the role

Seeking an experienced leader to head Finance Digital & IT initiatives as Group Head – D&IT Specialist (Finance) in Mumbai. The role demands deep SAP FICO expertise, proven ability to align technology with business needs, and strong leadership to guide cross‑functional teams. Responsibilities include end‑to‑end SAP FICO implementations, configuring Indian GST and taxation scenarios, driving automation and integration with other SAP modules, and ensuring governance aligned with ITIL standards. The ideal candidate brings over 15 years of experience, with at least 10 years in SAP and 5 in finance, and holds a B.Com/M.Com/CA with SAP specialization. SAP certification and experience in the power/utility sector are highly desirable. This full‑time, on‑site position offers an opportunity to shape digital finance strategy and lead high‑impact projects.

What you’ll do

• Lead end‑to‑end SAP FICO implementations
• Configure and manage Indian GST & Taxation scenarios
• Provide functional expertise across FICO, TRM, VIM, FM, REFX
• Drive automation, optimization, and integration with other SAP modules
• Mentor SAP Finance teams and ensure knowledge transfer
• Ensure application governance aligned with ITIL standards
• Support mergers, migration activities and configuration

What you’ll bring

• B.Com / M.Com / CA with SAP specialization
• 15+ years overall experience (5+ in Finance, 10+ in SAP)

Nice to have

• SAP Certification preferred
• Experience in Power/Utility sector
