Manager, Technical Training

About the role

Qualys is a SaaS security and IT operations platform company seeking a Manager, Technical Training in Pune. The role leads the Technical Training team, overseeing instructor-led and self-paced content creation, customer and partner training processes, and alignment with customer goals. Day-to-day work includes collaborating with product, support, and engineering, delivering product demos, optimizing customer setups, and driving content production to improve adoption and retention.

What you’ll do

• Oversee and manage the customer, partner, and internal training process.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders like product management, support, and engineering to update content.
• Oversee the team and the content built for security conferences.
• Understand customer context, oversee goals, and provide product demos.
• Educate customers and work with the team to optimize their product setup for the quickest path to success.
• Drive speedy content production.
• Accommodate training requests from Sales.
• Provide feedback from customers to instructors for continual improvement.

What you’ll bring

• Minimum 4-5 years of experience leading a team in customer technical training, enablement, customer service and support, customer success, or similar experience.
• Technical background in cybersecurity, networking, or related technology.
• Experience working on a technical team such as Technical Support, Enablement, or Customer Success.
• Experience with the Qualys platform as a practitioner, technical seller, sales engineer, or subject matter expert.
• Solid understanding and hands-on experience with CTEM, asset management, patching, vulnerability/risk management, policy compliance, and configuration management, cloud and application security, and/o
• Ability to design learning plans that align with customer objectives.
• Strong analytical and goal-oriented mindset backed by solid project management skills.
• Experience with content development, including managing a team that creates self-paced and instructor-led content.
