About the role
Engineering team responsible for developing advanced xEV battery packs. The Battery Pack Manager leads design, architecture, testing, and cost optimization of Lithium‑Ion battery systems for hybrid and electric vehicles. Works closely with cross‑functional design departments, suppliers, and regulatory bodies to ensure safety and performance. Based in Pune, on‑site work model.
What you’ll bring
- 10-15 years relevant experience
- B.E./BTech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- M.E./MTech in Design/Manufacturing (preferred)
- Experience with Lithium‑Ion battery pack design and testing
- Proficiency in DMU/3D modeling and 2D drawing
- Familiarity with UNIGRAPHICS (desirable)
- Knowledge of hybrid/electric powertrain control design
- Understanding of HEV/EV regulations such as AIS 038
