About the role

Amherst Group seeks an Analyst/Sr Analyst for Portfolio Management – Investor Reporting. The role supports senior portfolio managers in the US, building and maintaining complex portfolio and financial models, preparing weekly/monthly/quarterly investor reports for single‑family residential joint ventures, and ensuring accurate operational reporting. Responsibilities include evaluating investor requests, monitoring report performance, identifying data discrepancies, and supporting the PM and Investor Reporting team with additional reporting and special projects. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree, MBA/CA/CFA, 1‑4 years of experience in financial services or real estate, advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, and experience with Yardi, Tableau, and SQL. Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and time‑management skills are required.

What you’ll do

  • Assist Senior Portfolio Managers in US with complex portfolio and fund models
  • Build portfolio models: cash flow, waterfalls, IRR, DCF, NPV
  • Prepare weekly/monthly/quarterly PM investor reports for SFR JV investors
  • Maintain accurate inventory of all SFR JV operational reports
  • Evaluate investor requests with Austin manager, propose solutions, analyze metrics
  • Monitor operational report performance, take corrective actions to improve process
  • Identify data discrepancies in reports, communicate corrective solutions
  • Support PM and Investor Reporting team with extra reporting and projects

What you’ll bring
