About the role
Mahindra Auto Accessories team drives the creation of electrical and electronic systems for vehicle accessories. The Manager leads end‑to‑end product development, from architecture and wiring harness design through supplier validation and regulatory compliance. Based in Mumbai, this role works on‑site at the Mahindra facility, collaborating with engineering, software, and testing teams to ensure robust system integration.
What you’ll do
- Develop electrical architecture, wiring harnesses, and electronic systems from concept to production launch
- Manage E&E supplier development, technical reviews, and capability assessments
- Lead component validation, DFMEA/FMEA, and design verification plan execution
- Coordinate system integration with engineering, software, and testing teams
- Support homologation and regulatory compliance activities
Nice to have
- 4-5 years automotive electrical & electronics engineering experience
- Hands‑on wiring harness design and validation
- Experience with CAN Bus communication protocols
- Knowledge of DFMEA/FMEA and DVP processes
- Supplier development and component validation experience
- Familiarity with automotive electrical architecture and system integration
