Associate Product Specialist, Product Management

About the role

The Associate Product Specialist, Product Management role in Gurgaon, India supports Mastercard's Africa Division as a fund manager and custodian managing funds end to end. Day-to-day work includes overseeing fund establishment, deployment, financial review, impact, and the entire fund life cycle, while developing fund management and reporting processes and managing internal stakeholder relationships. The role also involves coordinating fieldwork, facilitating management committee meetings, and validating fund/budget governance approvals.

What you’ll do

• Understand overall market strategy, industry trends, and internal customer needs around fund management across the Africa division
• Set up and document operational processes around management of funds and budgets
• Facilitate periodic management committee meetings
• Coordinate fieldwork for assignments by developing project plans, task schedules, and preparing stakeholder meetings and documentation
• Manage financial and contract management supported by the Project Management Unit
• Validate completed requests for approval as per Fund/Budget governance
• Manage and maintain the existing approved fund pipeline on an ongoing basis
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across all aspects of fund management
