About the role

TVS Motor Company's NPD - CMB - R&D - Simulation team in Hosur Plant, Tamil Nadu, India seeks a CAE Analyst - NVH Simulation to lead noise, vibration, and harshness simulation and analysis for new product development across 3-wheeler and 4-wheeler platforms. Day-to-day work includes conducting NVH and CAE analysis for ICE and EV powertrains, developing and validating simulation models for powertrain-induced vibrations and structure-borne noise, correlating simulations with tests, and delivering countermeasures to meet product QCD targets. The role requires 10+ years of experience and a full-time engineering degree.

What you’ll do

  • Conduct NVH simulation and CAE analysis for 3W and 4W platforms including ICE and EV powertrains, full vehicle NTF, VTF, TPA, and cabin noise
  • Perform vehicle and powertrain NVH analysis including ICE/EV powertrains, intake and exhaust system acoustics, and mountings
  • Provide solutions to meet product QCD targets
  • Develop and validate simulation models for powertrain-induced vibrations and structure-borne noise
  • Simulate powertrain noise, gear whine, and driveline NVH characteristics
  • Develop and improve NVH simulation methods through test correlations
  • Conduct benchmarking and competitive analysis for NVH performance
  • Prepare and update NVH simulation standards and align with test standards

What you’ll bring

  • Full-time engineering degree in any engineering discipline
  • 10+ years of experience in NVH simulation and CAE analysis
  • Experience performing NVH simulation and analysis for 3W and 4W platforms
  • Ability to analyze simulation results, identify performance gaps, and develop countermeasures
  • Experience with ICE and EV powertrain NVH analysis
  • Experience with vehicle and powertrain NVH analysis including intake and exhaust system acoustics and mountings
  • Ability to develop and validate simulation models for powertrain-induced vibrations and structure-borne noise
  • Experience conducting benchmarking and competitive analysis for NVH performance
