About the role
GE Vernova’s DevOps & MLOps team builds and scales global industrial-grade platforms that enable advanced R&D, digital engineering, and AI-driven innovation across the energy value chain. The leader designs secure, reliable CI/CD and MLOps pipelines for software, controls, digital twins, and machine learning, partnering with engineering, data science, and product teams to accelerate innovation while meeting stringent safety, cybersecurity, and compliance standards. Based in Hyderabad, India, the role is on-site with a focus on global team leadership and stakeholder partnership.
What you’ll do
- Define and execute global DevOps/MLOps strategy
- Architect industrial‑grade CI/CD and MLOps platforms
- Drive adoption of IaC, automation, observability
- Ensure security, compliance, and quality in pipelines
- Partner with R&D, AI, cybersecurity, IT, EA
- Translate complex requirements into scalable solutions
- Communicate strategy to senior leadership
- Lead global hiring, onboarding, and talent development
What you’ll bring
- 10+ years DevOps/platform engineering
- 5+ years leading global multidisciplinary teams
- Advanced degree in Engineering/CS
- Hands‑on MLOps for industrial AI
- Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP
- Docker/Kubernetes
- Terraform/CloudFormation
- MLflow/Kubeflow
