Senior Sales Development Executive
About the role
This role focuses on driving sales for TPS projects by engaging new accounts, generating demand, and supporting technical teams. The Senior Sales Development Executive will maintain deep product knowledge, articulate solutions to both business and technical stakeholders, and assist in RFI/RFP responses. Responsibilities include training internal and external teams, managing project documentation, and traveling to project sites for deployment and commissioning. The candidate must possess strong communication skills, a results‑driven mindset, and expertise in networking technologies such as Ethernet, VPN, BGP, OSPF, and MPLS. A minimum of five years in field service or data center environments, along with relevant certifications (e.g., A+, Server+, Network+, Microsoft), is required. The position demands extensive travel, primarily across North America, and requires a valid U.S. driver’s license and passport.
What you’ll do
- Maintain expert product knowledge and application.
- Articulate technology and product positioning to business and technical users.
- Provide design and specification support to resellers, integrators, distributors.
- Assist sales engineering with RFIs/RFPs functional and technical elements.
- Convey customer requirements to other organizational functions.
- Perform technical/product training for internal team and external customers.
- Maintain accurate records of project plans, schedules, tasks, reports.
- Travel to project sites for deployment, set‑up, commissioning, training.
- Configure and test network switches, AV, KVM, other components.
- Mentor and coach field service technicians; assist task management.
What you’ll bring
- Associate's degree in Engineering/Tech or CS, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years in field service or data center networking roles.
Nice to have
- Certifications: A+, Server+, Network+, Microsoft (preferred).
- Experience in computer networking, signal switching, visualization tech.
