About the role

Network Products team at Mastercard drives the architecture of switching and network services. The Director Product Architect defines end‑to‑end product architecture, evaluates AI‑enabled opportunities, and creates high‑level system designs that ensure scalability, security and performance. Works across product lifecycle with product managers, engineers and regional solution teams. Pune, on-site, relocation available.

What you’ll do

• Define and evolve architectural vision for switching and network services
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to align architecture with business goals
• Assess technical feasibility and scalability of new product ideas
• Establish architecture principles such as decoupling, event‑driven and domain‑driven design
• Create logical architecture documentation and guide implementation teams
• Integrate AI/ML and LLM capabilities into platform architecture
• Advise on security, performance and resilience at network scale
• Communicate architectural trade‑offs to leadership
