About the role
Quest Global Engineering Team designs and delivers advanced mechanical solutions. The Technical Leader creates detailed 2D/3D models, assemblies and GD&T drawings using Siemens NX, collaborates with design originators and manufacturing, and leads a module through design reviews and change management. Bengaluru, India, on-site role with full-time schedule.
What you’ll do
- Design and draft detailed 2D and 3D models using Siemens NX
- Create and modify complex assemblies and components
- Generate detailed engineering drawings and documentation
- Perform geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
- Collaborate with design originators to resolve discrepancies
- Conduct quality control checks and ensure design accuracy
- Document design process and update existing drawings
- Interface with manufacturing teams for DFM and fabrications
- Technically lead a module, coordinating with customers independently
- Validate tolerance stack‑up and fitment for assemblies
- Handle design changes, revisions and engineering change requests
- Participate in design reviews, technical clarifications and customer discussions
- Ensure project timelines and delivery commitments
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field
- 8-12 years CAD design experience
- Proficiency in Siemens NX
- Experience with GD&T and detailed standards
- Familiarity with PLM tools like Teamcenter
- Knowledge of welding and fabrication methodology
- Strong problem‑solving and communication skills
- Leadership and team coordination
