Application Product Technical Leader

About the role

Valeo, a global automotive supplier, seeks an Application Product Technical Leader to drive R&D projects. The role serves as the primary technical liaison, coordinating cross‑disciplinary teams, ensuring on‑budget, high‑quality delivery, and integrating standardized platform solutions. Responsibilities include risk mitigation, technical meetings, budget oversight, and adherence to industry standards such as ASPICE, PDP, and CPM. The leader will manage Bill of Materials, change requests, scheduling, and stakeholder communication, while fostering team development and continuous improvement.

What you’ll do

• Act as first technical contact for project internally & externally.
• Interface with customer on R&D subjects, cascade requests.
• Coordinate cross-disciplinary teams for timely delivery.
• Ensure product development meets budget, quality, design robustness.
• Implement standardized platform solutions within project.
• Identify & mitigate project risks, execute resolution plans.
• Organize reviews & technical meetings, align stakeholders.
• Monitor DRs, define action plans, ensure no late resolution.
• Report progress, elevate critical issues to PM or R&D Manager.
• Adhere to development processes (PDP, CPM, ASPICE).
