Senior Product Applications Engineer

About the role

Analog Devices Product Applications team builds reference designs, technical collateral and application support for mixed‑signal semiconductor solutions. The Senior Product Applications Engineer evaluates, characterizes and validates products, develops customer‑facing tools and reference designs, and resolves technical issues with field teams. Bangalore, India, on‑site work model with occasional travel (≈10%).

What you’ll do

• Evaluate, characterize and validate semiconductor products and reference platforms
• Develop customer‑facing application collateral, software tools and reference designs
• Support customers and field application teams in resolving technical issues
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams throughout product development lifecycle
• Drive root‑cause analysis, debug and performance optimization activities
• Contribute to technical reviews, documentation and knowledge‑sharing initiatives

What you’ll bring

• 5+ years industry experience
• M.S./M.Tech./B.E./B.Tech. in Electrical/Electronics Engineering
• Proficiency in C and Python
• Hands‑on hardware design, debugging and validation
• Experience with mixed‑signal and embedded systems
• Familiarity with lab test equipment (oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, etc.)
• Knowledge of ARM microcontrollers and SPI/I²C/UART
• Strong analytical and communication skills
