About the role
Digital security team at Yum Restaurant Services Group protects the brand’s e‑commerce and restaurant applications. The Security Engineer II partners with US teams and third‑party engineers to identify, prioritize, and remediate vulnerabilities in mobile and web apps, maintains scan profiles for SAST/DAST and container security, and conducts threat modeling and incident response. What you’ll do
- Provide security guidance as subject matter expert for application security
- Collaborate with product owners and engineers to remediate vulnerabilities in web and mobile applications
- Maintain and update security scan profiles and policies across tools
- Conduct threat modeling and security awareness campaigns for development teams
- Coordinate with incident response teams to contain and analyze security incidents
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 4+ years of cybersecurity or software development experience
- Experience reviewing application vulnerabilities and remediation planning
- Familiarity with OWASP Top 10 and security scanning tools (SAST, DAST, container scanners)
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments
