About the role
Quest Global Engineering team designs advanced mechanical components for locomotives and heavy industry. The Mechanical Design Engineer creates detailed CAD models and drawings using NX, SolidWorks, and Teamcenter, develops PMI and sheet‑metal designs, manages engineering BOMs, and mentors junior designers. Bengaluru, Karnataka, India – on‑site work environment.
What you’ll do
- Develop detailed CAD models and assemblies
- Create fabrication, sheet‑metal, and PMI drawings
- Maintain and update engineering BOMs
- Ensure compliance with GD&T and industry standards
- Lead and mentor design team members
- Solve design problems and make decisions
What you’ll bring
- BE/B-Tech Mechanical Engineering
- 3-8 years experience
- SolidWorks UG NX10+
- Teamcenter 11+
- GD&T and ASME Y14.5 knowledge
- Fabrication and sheet‑metal modeling
- PMI/MBD creation
- Engineering BOM management
