About the role
Product Engineering team at Quest Global designs gas turbine components. The Mechanical Design Engineer creates detailed mechanical designs, interprets drawings, and evaluates manufacturing processes and costing. Role based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India (On-site) with option for Bengaluru location.
What you’ll do
- Develop mechanical designs for gas turbine products
- Create and review engineering drawings
- Perform manufacturing feasibility analysis
- Conduct product costing assessments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Utilize Excel for data analysis
What you’ll bring
- Strong knowledge of basic mechanical engineering concepts
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and standards
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and product costing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and data analysis
- Knowledge of VBA Macros and Power BI is preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
