About the role
Senior Engineer in Controls Engineering responsible for designing and engineering control panels for gas and steam turbine driven generators and compressors. Applies engineering concepts to multiple projects, creates detailed drawings, selects BOMs, and manages procurement. Collaborates with cross‑functional teams, conducts risk assessments, and supports FAT, HAZOP, and customer interactions. Drives project execution, ensures quality, and contributes to product standardization. Requires strong technical knowledge of PLC/DCS, turbomachinery, and control panel design, along with 8+ years of industry experience. Works onsite in Hyderabad, Telangana, India, with international and domestic travel for project meetings.
What you’ll do
- Apply engineering concepts to control panel projects
- Design and produce control panel drawings
- Select BOM and manage procurement
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams
- Conduct project reviews and risk mitigation
- Support FAT and customer interactions
- Provide inputs to product standardization
What you’ll bring
- BE/B.Tech or ME/MTech in Instrumentation & Controls or related field
- 8+ years experience in Control Systems Design in Power/Oil & Gas
- Experience in control panel design and PLC/DCS with turbomachinery
- International/domestic travel experience
- Good team player and communication skills
