Senior Manager/Assistant Project Manager/Project Engineer - MEP

About the role

The Manager – MEP at Cushman & Wakefield plans, manages, coordinates, and oversees all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) activities across facilities and projects in Bengaluru, India. Day-to-day work includes leading MEP operations, maintenance, projects, and contractors; coordinating with internal departments, consultants, contractors, vendors, and statutory authorities; and ensuring MEP systems are designed, installed, commissioned, operated, and maintained efficiently, safely, and in compliance with statutory requirements and technical standards. The role is on-site and full-time.

What you’ll do

• Responsible for installation and commissioning of all service equipment
• Manage handovers, ensuring that all works are complete as per the agreed terms; ensure receipt of all relevant documents like manuals and test certificates, as built drawings, warranties etc.
• Manages inspections of Statutory Authorities such as Fire Department, CEIG, Pollution Control Board, etc.
• Ensures optimum system performance, reliability, energy efficiency, cost control, and timely completion of MEP-related works
• Leads MEP operations, maintenance, projects, and contractors
• Coordinates with internal departments, consultants, contractors, vendors, and statutory authorities to ensure smooth execution and uninterrupted facility operations
• Ensures MEP systems are designed, installed, commissioned, operated, and maintained efficiently, safely, and in compliance with applicable statutory requirements, technical standards, and organization

What you’ll bring

• Leadership role in all MEP related coordination and execution
• Coordination across all disciplines of service design
• Responsible for incorporation of all elements of MEP design in the overall coordinated design
• Provides strategic inputs to the Planning, Contracts and Design Teams on all MEP related matters
• Responsible for execution of services work as per the drawings and specifications in line with the schedule, meeting established quality standards
• Assist contract manager for all matters related to specifications and conditions of every MEP package; provide value addition in vendor and local material supply selection in line with the agreed proc
• Work in coordination with the planning manager for scheduling and tracking all items related to MEP works
• Work closely with the project manager for identification and management of risks
