About the role

What you’ll do
- Manage end-to-end procurement operations including RFQs and PO creation
- Identify and develop reliable suppliers for materials and components
- Ensure on-time material availability for production needs
- Perform cost analysis and price negotiation for optimal savings
- Monitor supplier performance against quality, cost, and delivery parameters
- Coordinate with engineering, production, logistics, and quality teams
- Maintain procurement data and reports in ERP systems
- Support new supplier onboarding and documentation compliance
- Drive strategic sourcing initiatives and cost reduction programs
- Lead a small team of procurement professionals
- Conduct supplier audits and performance reviews
- Collaborate with senior management for annual procurement planning
What you’ll bring
- 5+ years experience for Executive/Senior Executive roles
- 7+ years experience for Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager roles
- Background in automotive or consumer appliances industry
- Strong procurement, purchase, and supply chain experience
- Proficient in vendor management and cost negotiation
- Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- Advanced Excel skills
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and material sourcing
- Strong analytical, coordination, and communication skills
Nice to have
- Experience in strategic sourcing and cost reduction programs
- Ability to lead and guide a small team
- Knowledge of supplier audits and performance reviews
