Partner Forward Deployed Engineer, Generative AI, Google Cloud

About the role

GenAI Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) on Google Cloud's Go-To-Market team, bridging frontier AI products and production-grade reality for enterprise customers. The role builds and ships complex multi‑agent AI solutions, designs data pipelines, and creates observability frameworks to ensure accuracy, safety, and latency. Works closely with customer engineering teams to integrate Google AI services into live infrastructure, providing white‑glove deployment and feeding field insights back to product roadmap. Mumbai, India; Austin, TX; Chicago, IL – hybrid/on‑site as needed.

What you’ll do

• Develop complex AI applications, transitioning prototypes to production‑grade agentic workflows
• Architect and code integrations between Google AI products and customer infrastructure, including APIs and security perimeters
• Build high‑performance evaluation pipelines and observability frameworks for accuracy, safety, and latency
• Identify repeatable field patterns and convert them into reusable modules or product feature requests
• Co‑build with customer engineering teams to instill Google‑grade development best practices

What you’ll bring

• 8 years cloud computing or technical customer‑facing experience
• Experience taking production‑grade AI solutions from conception to launch
• Architect AI systems on GCP platforms
• Build pipelines for structured and unstructured data using vector databases and RAG architectures
• Lead technical discovery sessions with customers
• Master’s or PhD in AI or Computer Science (preferred)
• Implement multi‑agent systems using frameworks like LangGraph or CrewAI (preferred)
• Knowledge of LLM‑native metrics and optimization techniques (preferred)

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field
