About the role

Forward Deployed Engineering team at Handshake AI builds production software that enables frontier AI labs to solve real-world problems. The engineer partners with senior engineers to design, develop, and deploy full‑stack customer‑facing solutions, collaborating across India and US teams. Bengaluru, India, in‑office role with on‑site work model.

What you’ll do

• Build and maintain production software supporting customer deployments
• Partner with senior engineers to design customer‑facing solutions
• Collaborate with Engineering, Research, Product, and Operations teams
• Develop full‑stack applications using React, TypeScript, and backend services
• Translate customer requirements into reliable, scalable software
• Improve system reliability, performance, and maintainability

What you’ll bring

• 2+ years professional software engineering experience
• Proficiency in TypeScript and React
• Experience with modern backend technologies and PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with AWS or GCP
• Strong problem‑solving abilities in fast‑moving environments
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
