About the role
Forward Deployed Engineering team at Workato builds autonomous AI agents that orchestrate enterprise workflows. The role designs, implements, and deploys agentic AI solutions, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation pipelines, on the Workato platform. Engineers collaborate with customers and cross‑functional teams to deliver scalable, real‑time AI workflows that enhance IT operations. Hyderabad, India, on‑site with flexible work model.
What you’ll do
- Design and implement agentic AI workflows
- Deploy and maintain RAG systems
- Troubleshoot AI‑driven architectures
- Integrate AI solutions with existing IT frameworks
- Collaborate with customers to tailor solutions
- Monitor and optimize AI performance
- Translate technical concepts for non‑technical stakeholders
- Contribute to product design and specifications
What you’ll bring
- 4+ years experience in AI/ML engineering
- 1+ year experience with Workato
- Strong knowledge of RESTful/SOAP APIs
- Experience with RDBMS/NoSQL
- Proficiency in Java, Python, or Ruby
- Understanding of iPaaS and cloud integration
- Knowledge of BPM/RPA tools
- Experience with enterprise messaging patterns
