The Senior Staff Data Scientist defines, executes, and evolves metrics, performs deep error and bias analysis, and leads large‑scale analytical studies to translate findings into actionable insights for engineering and product stakeholders. Bangalore, on-site, Full-time role with senior level responsibilities.

What you’ll do

• Design and maintain offline and online evaluation frameworks for AI/ML features
• Define, validate, and evolve KPIs and audit methodologies
• Conduct deep error, bias, and segmentation analyses
• Lead large‑scale analytical studies and generate actionable insights
• Design experiments, A/B tests, and ensure statistical rigor
• Build tools, dashboards, and automation for scalable audits
• Mentor junior data scientists and lead technical initiatives
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and leadership teams

What you’ll bring

• 8+ years data science experience
• PhD or M.Tech in CS/EE/Statistics/Mathematics
• Strong foundation in probability and statistics
• Proficient Python programming
• Advanced SQL and NoSQL expertise
• Data visualization and storytelling
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Experience with AI‑powered analytics tools

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AWS services
• Experience building Python web services (Flask/Django)
• Handling large‑scale noisy datasets
