About the role

Senior Staff Engineer at StoneX’s Global Market Data Department leads the design and implementation of cloud data platform components for market data projects. The role architects data pipelines, standardizes data models, and drives data quality across the enterprise while mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with cross‑functional leads. Pune, India, on‑site with a hybrid schedule of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote.

What you’ll do

• Architect data pipelines for structured and unstructured data
• Standardize data models and attributes across global enterprise
• Mentor junior data team members
• Lead delivery of small to medium projects
• Collaborate with cross‑functional business and IT stakeholders
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
• Implement data management program
• Drive data quality improvements

What you’ll bring

• 5+ years in Data Architecture/Engineering
• 3+ years in capital markets/trading
• Proficiency in Python, C#, PySpark
• Experience with Azure Databricks
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
