About the role
Finance team at Nium, the global real‑time payments infrastructure leader, drives financial governance and scalable processes. The Senior Manager, Payroll owns end‑to‑end multi‑country payroll for the US, Singapore, India and other markets, ensuring accurate, on‑time runs, statutory compliance and integration with HRIS and finance systems. Works closely with People Operations, Legal, Tax, FP&A and external providers, delivering insights, process automation and supporting M&A payroll integration. Mumbai office, hybrid schedule (3 days onsite).
What you’ll do
- Own end‑to‑end payroll processing across international locations
- Maintain payroll data integrity and audit controls
- Ensure compliance with statutory payroll laws and filings
- Prepare payroll journal entries, accruals and GL reconciliations
- Partner with FP&A for headcount reporting and forecasting
- Coordinate with AP on benefit and vendor payments
- Identify and implement payroll process automation
- Act as escalation point for payroll queries
