About the role
SAP Solutions Team at Birlasoft delivers end‑to‑end SAP PP/QM implementations for manufacturing clients. The Senior SAP PP/QM Consultant leads design, configuration, integration and migration of PP and QM modules, collaborates with ABAP developers, and mentors junior consultants. Based in Pune, on‑site work model, with global delivery responsibilities.
What you’ll do
- Lead SAP PP/QM rollout, upgrade and support projects
- Gather and analyze production planning and quality management requirements
- Configure PP functions: demand management, MRP, production orders, BOM, work centers, capacity planning
- Configure QM processes: quality planning, inspections, notifications, vendor quality, audit management
- Integrate PP/QM with MM, SD, PM, WM/EWM, FI modules
- Support S/4HANA migration and digital manufacturing initiatives
- Prepare functional specs and coordinate custom ABAP enhancements
- Conduct testing, deployment and post‑production support
What you’ll bring
- 12+ years SAP PP/QM functional consulting
- 2–3 full lifecycle SAP implementations
- SAP S/4HANA PP/QM experience
- Integration with MM, SD, PM, WM/EWM
- Manufacturing domain expertise (automotive, pharma, chemicals, FMCG)
- SAP PP or QM certification preferred
- Strong stakeholder and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in global teams
